Hehe ^_^. Zell's a master at close-range combat and the only weapon he has are his fists and his feet, baby!
Nothing really much is known about Zell. He's optimistic, goofy at times, and just plain cool. His "grandfather" was a master at the martial arts himself, and taught Zell the skills which eventually led him to become a SeeD at Balamb Garden. When it comes to hot dogs, it's a passion to have them. That's his main diet: hot dogs. He loves them, fights in line in the Cafeteria to get them, and gobbles them up really really fast, depending on how hungry he is ^_^.
Never EVER call him Chicken Wuss. That's a nickname that Seifer uses all of the time on him. It's...oh, like Sagara Sanosuke in Rurouni Kenshin being called a rooster head. Did I ever mention that Zell despises Seifer to the core?
Ya see, during the Orphanage, Seifer used to pick on him a lot. He never remembered that until later, but booyaka. And as you know, Zell is also part of the Orphanage gang, being the first to be adopted by the Dincht family in Balamb and is a native from Balamb as well.
Everybody in Balamb thinks Zell as a comic book hero. He's widely known there, both for his reputation as a fighter and for his outgoing personality.
Oh, and that tattoo on his face? Rumors have it that when he was 15, he went on a dare to get a tattoo on his face by a friend. He was drunk at that time and didn't know what had happened until the next day ^_^.
*Duel is like Tifa Lockheart's limit break where Zell learns a series of moves from every magazine he gets. Magazines are an important in this game. You can either set your settings as automatic (meaning that the computer does Zell's moves for you) or you can choose to make Zell do his moves on your own.
