DESCRIPTION |
OTHER MISC.
FACTS |
Steal |
* - none
* * - 40000 AP
Master - 50000 AP
|
Uh...you steal...stuff
^^. |
Sold at Master Level - 84000
Gil
Can be junctioned w/support
materia
Steal - steals items from
your enemies
Mug - same as Steal except you attack at
the same time
|
Sense |
* - none
Master - 40000 AP
|
Your character
looks at your enemy and monitors their HP/MP, weaknesses, level,
and name. Not effective against all bosses, sorry ^^. |
Sold at Master Level - 70000
Gil
Can be junctioned w/support
materia
Just press Select on your
controller after you've "sensed" the enemy and it'll
keep on telling what it's stats are all the time until the thing
is dead. Useful when you want to get certain items.
|
Deathblow |
* - none
Master - 40000 AP
|
Hee
hee, these are cool. What it does is that your character commanded
does a nifty lil' special move for extra damage than normal. Doesn't
hit that often, but it hits frequently when your materia level is
high. |

Ah, the lil brain of mind
runs. Well, here are some of the special moves that the characters
will perform when they do a deathblow:
Cloud: jumps up in the air and slices
down w/his sword
Tifa: does a spin kick
Barret: winds his gun like pitching a
baseball and then shoots
Vincent: does a nifty lil twirling trick
with his gun before firing
Red XII: spins in the air (?) before biting
down
Cid: jabs his spear at his enemy
Yuffie: aims at her enemy before swinging
her shuriken at her enemy
These are just nonsense facts...as you can
see, I like Deathblow a little too much ^^.
|
Morph |
* - none
Master - 40000 AP
|
You do a special
attack at a particular enemy for 1/8 of a damage than a normal attack.
However, if you're enemy's weak, then it'll turn into an item. Good
especially against Cactuars to morph into Tetra Elementals ^^. |
Can be junctioned w/support
materia
Can you sell these for a
lot of mula? Nope ^^.
The only one you'll have,
(if I remember correctly) is from the Temple of Ancients.
|
Manipulate |
* - none
Master - 40000 AP
|
This
usually works. You basically manipulate your enemy (it turns green
and turns around) and control its actions. It'll be controlled by
your character who manipulated it until it either is hit by someone
or dies. Useful in getting enemy skills. |
Can be junctioned w/support
materia
Sold at Master Level - 700000
Gil
It's not effective against
some enemies (like those stupid judge thingies in Shinra Mansion
who cast "????") and all bosses.
You can hit them when you're
done with them for extra damage since they have their back to
you.
|
Throw |
* - none
* * - 45000 AP
Master - 60000 AP
|
You can...throw
stuff, duh. Yuffie has this equipped on her when you first get her.
|
Sold at Master Level - 700000
Gil
Can NOT be junctioned w/support
materia
Throw - throws a weapon (or weapons)
from your inventory
Coin Toss - throws as much money as you
want to at an enemy; depends on how much
money you throw for damage
|
Slash All |
* - none
* * - 100000 AP
Master - 150000
AP
|
This is cool.
That's all I can say. You attack all the enemies (even though it's
less than what you normally attack with). Hehe, Ayame-chan likes. |
Can't be junctioned w/support
materia
You can't sell this thing,
you'll only get 1 Gil (sucks to you)
Flash Slash (level 2) can
use your regular attacks at all enemies, killing them instantly
*if* they hit, and that's a big IF.
|
Double Cut |
* - none
* * - 100000 AP
Master - 150000
AP
|
This one is also
cool. You automatically hit twice (level 1) or four times (level
2). Hahaha, I like hitting more than once. |
Think you can sell this?
I think not. Why would you want to sell this thing anyhoo? Are
you crazy?
Equipping Mega All will negate
this materia. Yep, you read this write. NEGATE.
|
Mimic |
* - none
Master - 100000
AP
|
Um...the character
who has this on them will mimic whatever recent attack that the
previous character just did. Spells cast don't take away the imitators'
MP nor items. You can't imitate someone else's limit break except
for that imitator's own. |
I dun think you wanna get
rid of this when you want to fight against Emerald Weapon.
Can't junction support materia
This is only available when
you take the Chocobo breeding quest and get a Mountain chocobo,
go to the Wutai materia cave, and huzzah, Mimic materia.
|
W-Item |
* - none
Master - 250000
AP
|
You use two items
at one time. What can I say? |
You'll only find this only
if you didn't go on ahead to the Sister Ray area and went backwards
in the sewers all the way to the Sector One sewers to obtain this
materia.
Can't junction w/support
materia
|
W-Summon |
* - none
Master - 250000
AP
|
I love this one
^^. You use two SUMMONS at one time. Just think of it: Knights of
the Round summon cast twice. Bye, bye, Emerald! |
Can't junction w/support
materia
Are you crazy of selling
this?!?
This can only be one in the
Battle Square at Gold Saucer for 64000 BP.
|
W-Magic |
* - none
Master - 250000
AP
|
Another favorite.
You cast two magic spells at once. Now think of it this way: Contain
Magic junctioned with Quadra Magic and use W-Magic. You cast the
spell EIGHT times! |
Can't be junctioned w/support
materia (not that you need to)
I dun think you can sell
this anyway since ti's only found in the Final Dungeon.
