Cid is a man of dreams. He wants to someday become the first man up in space and that dream nearly came when the Shinra Space Department began building a rocket that was to send Cid up. That project led to the creation of Rocket Town and Cid was the chief of that town. However, his dreams were soon shattered when he had to choose between going up into space or letting his "friend", Shera, die. Since then, Shinra took away the funds for the Space Department and the rocket has been sitting in Rocket Town as idle as ever. Cid's very foul-mouthed (just a tad bit worse than Barret), but he likes to keep a straight forward mind...most of the time. His way of being courteous to others is his own way: gruff, foul-mouthed, and always serving tea.
LIMIT BREAKS
LEVEL ONE:
~~~Boost Jump~~~ Basically, Cid jumps in the air and then crashes down on an enemy with his spear.
~~~Dynamite~~~ As what the limit break says. What's really cool though is that when Cid takes out a piece of dyanmite, he lights it with his cigarette before throwing it at a pack of enemies ^^. Available after using Boost Jump 8 times.
LEVEL TWO:
~~~Hyper Jump~~~ This is similar to Boost Jump except that when Cid jumps in the air and crashes down, he creates an explosion to hit all enemies around him. Available after Cid kills 80 enemies.
~~~Dragon~~~ Like what the limit break says. Cid calls a dragon to attack and then he gains his enemy's current MP. Available after using Hyper Jump 8 times.
LEVEL THREE:
~~~Dragon Dive~~~ Once again Cid jumps in the air and then hits his enemy and then goes back again six more times at random enemies. Available after Cid kills another 80 enemies.
~~~Big Brawl~~~ Cid goes into an eight hit combo at random enemies. Available after using Dragon Dive 8 times.
LEVEL FOUR:
Highwind
All you need to do to get this item is to take the side quest to the Downed Shinra Plane and explore around inside. You'll find Highwind there ^^. What Cid does, since he IS the captain of the airship after all, is call upon the Highwind and they respond by sending down missles at your enemies.
